The Services feature allows you to:
- Create and manage your complete service menu
- Set flexible pricing and duration for each service
- Organize services into categories for easier navigation
- Enable couple or group bookings for specific services
- Offer add-ons to upsell additional treatments
- Assign services to specific staff members and resources
- Link smart forms to services for intake information
Service List
The Services page displays all your services organized by category. From here you can view, edit, and manage your entire service menu.
Viewing Services
Services are displayed in a list view, grouped by their assigned categories. Each service shows its name, price, and duration at a glance. Click on any service to open its details and make changes.
Adding New Services
Click the add button (+ icon) to create a new service. You'll need to provide at minimum a name, price, and duration. Additional settings like description, photo, and category assignments can be configured after creation.
Creating Services
Each service has several configurable fields that define how it appears to customers and how bookings are handled.
Basic Information
The following fields are available for each service:
- Name (required) — The service name displayed to customers during booking
- Price (required) — The cost of the service in your configured currency
- Duration (required) — How long the service takes in minutes
- Description — A detailed description shown to customers on the booking page
- Photo — An image representing the service, displayed in the booking interface
Service Photo
Upload a photo to visually represent your service. Photos help customers understand what to expect and make your booking page more appealing. For best results, use high-quality images that clearly represent the service being offered.
Linked Forms
You can link smart forms to services to collect additional information from customers. When a customer books a service with a linked form, they will be prompted to complete the form before or after their appointment, depending on your form automation settings.
Service Categories
Service categories (also called service groups) help organize your services into logical groupings. This makes it easier for customers to find what they're looking for when booking.
Creating Categories
Create categories to group related services together. Each category can have:
- Name — The category name displayed to customers
- Description — Optional description explaining the category
- Photo — An image representing the category
- Linked Forms — Forms that apply to all services in this category
Assigning Services to Categories
A service can belong to multiple categories. When editing a service, select which categories it should appear in. Services without any category assignment will appear in an "Uncategorized" section.
Category Display Order
Categories can be reordered to control how they appear on the booking page. Drag and drop categories to arrange them in your preferred order. The most popular or important categories should typically appear first.
Couple & Group Bookings
Enable couple or group bookings for services that can be performed on multiple people simultaneously. This is ideal for couples massages, group treatments, or any service where customers want to book together.
Enabling Couple Bookings
Toggle the "Allow Couple Bookings" option in the service settings to enable this feature. When enabled, customers will have the option to book the service for two people at once.
Couple Pricing
You can set a special price for couple bookings that differs from the standard single-person price. This allows you to offer a discount for couples or charge a premium for the additional service.
- No special price — The couple booking costs double the regular price
- Custom couple price — Set a specific price for the couple booking
Service Add-ons
Add-ons are optional extras that customers can add to their booking. They're a great way to increase revenue by offering complementary treatments or upgrades.
Add-on Groups
Add-ons are organized into groups. Each add-on group can be linked to specific services or service categories. When a customer books a linked service, they'll be offered the add-ons from that group.
Each add-on group contains:
- Name — The group name (e.g., "Massage Upgrades", "Extra Treatments")
- Description — Optional description for the group
- Image — Visual representation of the add-on group
- Linked Services — Which services show this add-on group
- Linked Categories — Which service categories show this add-on group
Creating Add-ons
Within each add-on group, create individual add-ons that customers can select. Each add-on has:
- Name — The add-on name shown to customers
- Description — Details about what the add-on includes
- Price — Additional cost for the add-on
- Duration — Extra time added to the appointment (in minutes)
- Image — Visual representation of the add-on
How Add-ons Work
When customers book a service that has linked add-on groups, they'll see the available add-ons during the booking process. They can select multiple add-ons, and the total price and duration will be updated accordingly.
Resource Assignments
If your business uses resources like treatment rooms or equipment, you can assign them to specific services. This ensures that when a service is booked, the required resources are also reserved.
Assigning Resources
When editing a service, you can select which resources are required for that service. During booking, the system will check that both a staff member and the required resources are available.
Resource Availability
Resources work alongside staff availability. A booking can only be made when:
- At least one assigned staff member is available
- All required resources are available
- The time slot fits within working hours
Staff Assignments
Control which staff members can perform each service. This is managed from the Staff Management section rather than the service itself.
How Staff Assignments Work
Each staff member has a list of services they can perform. When customers book online, they will only see staff members who are assigned to their selected service.
Default Behavior
When you create a new service, it is automatically assigned to all existing staff members. When you create a new staff member, they are automatically assigned to all existing services. You can then adjust these assignments as needed.
Display Order
Control the order in which services appear on your booking page. Services can be reordered within their categories to highlight your most popular or profitable offerings.
Reordering Services
Use drag and drop to reorder services within the service list. The order you set here is reflected on the customer booking page. Place your most popular or recommended services at the top for better visibility.
Category Order
In addition to service order within categories, you can also reorder the categories themselves. This gives you full control over how your service menu is presented to customers.
