Analyze your business performance with visual dashboards and detailed booking data.

Overview

Receptioner provides two comprehensive reporting tools to help you understand your business performance: the Sales Report for visual analytics and the Bookings Report for detailed data analysis.

Access reports from the Reports section in your dashboard. Both reports share common filtering capabilities and support CSV export for further analysis.

Use reports regularly to identify trends, optimize your schedule, and make data-driven decisions for your business.

Sales Report

The Sales Report provides a visual dashboard with 16 different charts and metrics to give you a comprehensive view of your business performance.

Key Metrics

  • Total Bookings — The total number of bookings in the selected period
  • Total Revenue — Combined revenue from all bookings
  • Average Revenue by Service — Average price per service booked
  • Sales Volume — Pie chart showing overall sales distribution

Revenue Analysis

  • Revenue by Service Group — Revenue breakdown by service category
  • Revenue by Service — Revenue breakdown by individual service
  • Revenue by Resource — Revenue generated by each staff member
  • Revenue Trends — Revenue changes over time

Sales Analysis

  • Sales by Resource — Number of bookings per staff member
  • Sales Trends — Booking volume changes over time

Top Performers

  • Top Performing Services by Bookings — Most frequently booked services
  • Top Performing Services by Revenue — Highest revenue-generating services
  • Top Performing Resources by Bookings — Staff with most bookings
  • Top Performing Resources by Revenue — Staff generating highest revenue

Status Distribution

  • Booking Status Distribution — Breakdown of booking statuses (confirmed, completed, cancelled, etc.)
  • Payment Status Distribution — Breakdown of payment statuses (paid, pending, refunded, etc.)
The dashboard automatically adjusts its layout based on your screen size, displaying charts in a responsive grid format.

Bookings Report

The Bookings Report provides a detailed data grid view of all your bookings, allowing you to analyze individual booking records with powerful sorting and filtering.

Available Columns

The data grid displays the following information for each booking:

  • Date — The booking date
  • Time — The booking time
  • Status — Current booking status
  • Payment Status — Current payment status
  • Price — Booking price
  • Service Group — The service category
  • Service — The specific service booked
  • Resource — The assigned staff member
  • Customer Name — Customer's full name
  • Customer Email — Customer's email address
  • Customer Phone — Customer's phone number

Data Grid Features

  • Sorting — Click column headers to sort by any field. Supports multi-column sorting.
  • Column Filtering — Filter data within specific columns
  • Column Resizing — Adjust column widths to your preference
  • Pagination — Navigate through large datasets with configurable page sizes (25, 50, 100, or 200 rows per page)
  • Booking Details — Click any row to open the full booking details modal
Use multi-column sorting to analyze data by multiple criteria, such as sorting by date and then by revenue to see your highest-earning days.

Filtering Options

Both reports share common filtering options to help you focus on specific data:

Date Range

Select a start and end date to view data for a specific period. Use the date range picker to quickly select common ranges or specify custom dates.

Service Filter

Filter reports to show only bookings for a specific service. This helps you analyze the performance of individual services.

Service Group Filter

Filter by service category to analyze performance across related services. Useful for comparing different areas of your business.

Resource Filter

Filter by staff member to view individual performance metrics. Great for staff reviews and identifying training opportunities.

Filters can be combined. For example, filter by a specific staff member and date range to review their monthly performance.

CSV Export

Export your report data to CSV format for further analysis in spreadsheet applications or integration with other business tools.

How to Export

Click the download icon in the filter bar to export the currently filtered data to a CSV file. The export respects all active filters, so you can export specific subsets of your data.

Data Privacy
